Originally from Milford, Massachusetts, Matthew Ferrelli brings a deep passion for the game of golf and a strong commitment to delivering an exceptional member experience. Recently relocating to Buffalo from Fort Myers, Florida, he continued to develop a teaching philosophy and broaden expertise in club operations. Over his career, Matt has worked at some top facilities in the country. Most previously, Calusa Pines Golf Club, Boothbay Harbor Country Club, Sand Valley Golf Resort to name a few.

Matt, along with his girlfriend, Baylea, and their 12-year-old Pitbull, Piggy, are thrilled to now call Western New York home and be part of the Transit Valley Country Club community.

With a lifelong appreciation for the game, he takes great pride in working individually with players of all levels to help them enhance their skills and enjoy the game to its fullest. Outside of professional responsibilities, he enjoys working on his own game, spending time on the water, exploring local restaurants, and cheering on Boston sports teams.

Matt looks forward to building lasting relationships with members and contributing to a welcoming and enriching golf experience at Transit Valley Country Club.

A recent graduate from SUNY Brockport with a degree in sports management, Josh is looking to make an impact in the golf industry. He truly enjoys the game of golf and is looking forward to expanding his knowledge of the game. Along with that, he looks forward to passing down his knowledge of the game to the future of the sport and individuals who aspire to improve their game. Prior to being an assistant pro, he worked as an outside operations employee at Lancaster Country Club for 3 years and 2 shoulder seasons at Oak Hill Country Club.

Josh is from Lancaster, New York and has grown up to be a big Buffalo sports fan. He enjoys fishing, being outdoors, and spending time with his family. He looks forward to meeting and interacting with members.

Tyler Weber

Originally from Lancaster, New York, Tyler Weber brings a deep passion for the game of golf and a strong commitment to providing an exceptional member experience. Most recently, he spent the winter at Secession Golf Club, a nationally respected venue known for its high-level service and operations. During his time there, he gained valuable knowledge in tournament operations and developed a deeper understanding of the day-to-day functions that contribute to a well-run golf club.

Tyler began his career in the golf industry with a season at Park Country Club, followed by two successful seasons at Brookfield Country Club. He is currently pursuing his PGA Class A membership through the PGA of America Associate Program, continuing to advance his professional development in the industry.

Outside of work, Tyler enjoys spending time with friends and family—often on the golf course or at the ice rink. He looks forward to building meaningful relationships with members and continuing to grow within the golf profession.

Taylor Fox

Originally from Erie, Pennsylvania, Taylor Fox brings a great appreciation for the game of golf and creating a superior member experience. Throughout his career, Taylor has gained knowledge and experience at prestigious facilities across the country, including The Sanctuary Golf Club in Sanibel, Florida, Ekwanok Country Club in Manchester, Vermont, and The Kahkwa Club in Fairview, Pennsylvania.

Taylor recently moved to Western New York from Erie. In his free time, he enjoys spending his time with his girlfriend, Liz, and his family back in Erie. He is a big sports fan and is excited to watch his New York Jets when they come to town!

Taylor is excited to help grow the game of golf and create great relationships with the membership at Transit Valley Country Club.

Avery Kuryak

Originally from Hamburg, Avery brings a strong passion and high-energy approach to the game of golf and the overall member experience. After graduating from University at Buffalo in 2024 with a degree in Business Management and Entrepreneurship, he began his professional career at Seven Oaks Club at Colgate University in Hamilton as an Assistant Golf Professional. During his time there, Avery earned PGA Associate Member status and continues to advance through the PGA PGM Program. He has developed experience in all areas of golf operations, with strong interests in player development, merchandising, and creating an exceptional membership experience.

Now back in Western New York, Avery is excited to join the TVCC team and looks forward to building lasting relationships while delivering outstanding service to the membership.

Outside of golf, Avery enjoys spending time with friends and family and is thrilled to be home enjoying Buffalo Bills football again, He also hopes his return from Central New York might serve as a "good luck charm" for the Bills' long-awaited Super Bowl run.
