Jonathan R. Decker, PGA
Head Golf Professional
Prior to Transit Valley, I was the First Assistant Golf Professional at the Country Club of Buffalo as well as spending several winters at Calusa Pines Golf Club in Naples, Florida. My first introduction to golf came while caddying at Red Run Golf Club in Royal Oak, MI just outside Detroit. I quickly fell in love with the game and soon found myself immersed with everything that went on at the club. After several successful seasons caddying, I was awarded a Chick Evans Caddie Scholarship to Michigan State University where I graduated with a B.A. in Finance.
Upon graduation, my mother encouraged me to follow my passion and pursue a career as a golf professional. I will forever be thankful for advice as I have truly enjoyed every day that I have been able to go to the club and help people play a game that means so much to me. During my first summer in Buffalo, I was fortunate to meet my wife Katie Jordan at Music on Main in Williamsville. In my spare time I enjoy traveling, fitness, spending time with my wife, golf course architecture, sustainability, and cheering on the Buffalo and Detroit sports teams.

Scott Zenosky
Assistant Golf Professional
Scott is a born and raised Buffalonian who has had a deep passion for not only the game of Golf, but every aspect surrounding it since a very young age.
While attending St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute, he played an important role on their Golf team as a 4-year leader and top player. During that time, he also served the Country Club of Buffalo as an Honor Caddie where he was first introduced to elevated golf operations and historically valued membership.
After college at SUNY ECC studying Business Administration, Scott managed Tony Walker & Co. at The Walker Center in Williamsville, NY. With a focus on authentic relationship building for vendors and clients, specific retail buying, and the development of sales processes; he demonstrated success with brand development, marketing himself, and their entire footprint.
After TW&Co came to a halt, Scott continued his sales and business development experience with a few different companies including a global Golf company out of Munich, Germany.
Golf has always been a part of his life in some way, shape, or form. His plan is to transition that fondness for the game into a career and begin his PGA Member certifications this summer. He is eager to deploy his talents and provide the Transit Valley CC Membership with the highest level of customer support, experience and to build strong relationships throughout the Club.
